  1. Anyone know if BISSA or the club are doing a DVD/USB of the play off games?
  2. We've already got two try machines on the wing, with another two waiting in reserve.
  3. Where he lives and where he runs a business might be a good starting point.
  4. Think the Nash bus is one of the Batley Boys ones. There is another coach going from over Dewsbury way.
  5. Fair enough it was a dodgy decision but so was missing Wards knock on.
  6. How about the split gate receipts from a combined attendance of around 12-15k?
  7. Enjoyed my visit up to Barrow today, great rugby league town and fantastic to see such a big crowd at the game. Keep up the good work.
  8. Seems to suggest that they have decided to leave it open for the upcoming weekend, to allow for the travelling hordes of Gallant Youths.
  9. IF London beat Barrow, then we would play York at home, providing they beat Workington. A set of results not beyond the realms of possibility.
  10. When you consider the sacrifices that these part time players have to make, it is very harsh to criticise them after a couple of poor performances, especially when they have overachieved all season. Losing all 3 starting hookers at the same time would also damage any team in this league, maybe barring Leigh.
  11. Aye, the past two decades have flown by!
  12. Isn't there a coach running from Batley?
  13. You're really not confident of getting a win against Dewsbury? Might aswell give up now then.
  14. We beat Barrow away and lost at home, so would it be a bad thing to play them away, assuming the monies are split. Overall, the away form has been better.
  15. Are you referring to the incorrect PTB when Whiteley got shoved to the ground when playing it? They scored again straight off that. Fine margins and the ref had to make a quick judgement call and those 50/50 calls generally tend to have a major bearing on the game. Having said that, it works both ways, as Walmsleys try was chalked off for a supposed forward pass.
  16. I don't think the coaches comments were harsh as he was never going to use tiredness as an excuse, even though everyone knows that was the reason, so he basically assessed it as if we hadn't played midweek. To me that's a winners mentality, taking it on the chin and not looking for excuses.
  17. You could tell there were tired bodies out there, but no one gave up, they all carried on fighting until the end and even managed the last score on the Hooter with 12 men. Great desire.
