People been discussing recently on how the club can develop and grow as a brand. It was frustrating trying to follow the game this evening. Not great for the game at this level if you can barely get updates on what's going on. I did notice the Eagles twitter account was fairly up to date with a minute by minute account of what was going on. They also put the minute of the game on the tweet so you knew how long was left. Is this not something we could do?

I noticed it had appeared on the ticket portal last night and the club have advertised it this morning on social media.

Good idea. You would like to think there would be a lot of potential candidates ready to jump at an opportunity like that, to get involved with a professional sporting establishment and help them gain valuable experience in an industry where jobs are hard to come by. Always thought there is a lack of a physical presence around the town. Could the Bulldogs not have some sort of stall at the the local markets or something outside Tesco maybe once a week, which is probably the busiest footfall in the town. I'd also be printing out loads of free kids tickets and dropping them through letterboxes, or certainly pushing free kids tickets at all the local schools. If we have any friends over at Fev, it might be worth asking them what their secret is.

I'll go for a win by any margin please.

I take it, that to have such an input on ground improvements you have visited all of these grounds and not just made the assumption from the camera angle you watch from whilst sat on your le canape.

I think it's disrespectful that you claim Batley's ground need's redevelopment. It is more than adequate for what we need right now and probably always will be. There are probably other clubs you have mentioned which will take offence. Infact i think this thread just rubs salt into the wounds as you seem smug on Toulouse making the super league!!

You have to get to the Grand Final don't you? Winning the league doesn't count for much in terms of ticking a box although dont let that detract from what is a brilliant acheivement! Surely you must have some news by now regarding your ground?

Aye, you can win league and cups and what not but who really would be most suited to the super league. Pobably Widnes. Regardless of how ordinary tey may look in this division, if they got a bye upto the super league then i'm sure they wouldhave what it takes to spend and stay there. Would prefer Fev myself by the way as I get the feeling they dont want Batley anywere near it.

So you think it will be a like for like swap, Fev for Wakey? What about your fanbase and stadia, its not what the RFL is looking for isit? Like I said about the rule changing, they seem to do what they want and there seems to be a few teams from over the hill which they like the sound of.

Maybe after both Fev and Barrow have played at the Mount we will know how significant the last game of the season is.

Is it really that strong? Theyre a very competitive and now well established team. RFL seem very good at changing the rules even though they made em themselves!
