  1. Great effort but, dumb last play when in perfect position, got to be smarter than that.
  2. With all due respect, we don't want Namo, it's not good business for the club.
  3. If true this doesn't look like good business for us. We stand to lose a lad whose been good for us but get Namo in return, the fact the Tigers are happy to release him from their quota roster shows what they think of him.
  4. Right decision, shouldn't have been kept on in first place.
  5. Even before yesterday there was plenty of evidence to dispense with Ford. This is borne out further in attendance numbers. The market is limited on replacement coaches but Handley has got to get his radar on now, as persevering with Ford is dragging the whole club down and sickening the supporters off. Delaying the inevitable will only bring further criticism, time to begin the search and identify the candidates, even if it means enticing someone away from their existing club, albeit funds may prevent this latter option. What is clear is that we can't go on as we are, raising hopes then dealing with the reality of further disappointments.
  6. I have to disagree re Olpherts hus defence is dire.
  7. Very positive, strikes me as the type of bloke you could work with, or for. Early days yet, but he comes across very well and hopefully this now sets the platform for other interested partners / sponsors etc to invest in the club.
  8. I agree, his defence is dire. Yes he's scored tries this year but he's been playing for the league leaders who's squad is markedly stronger than all other championship teams. Not a wise choice for my money.
  9. I believe its Will Jubb of York we're linked with as McShanes arrival pushes jubb down their pecking order.
  10. We're in the situation now where fans are staying away from the games under Ford. For the club that's not sustainable, whether Handley likes him or not. The close season is going to provide an insight into Handley's thinking. Ford has to go, it's as simple as that, we can't stomach any more of his tactics and on a wider note the club cannot endure the dwindling gate numbers for a prolonged period.
  11. Never rated Patton, key thing for me though is the coach, I just don't think Ford's got it, I don't believe we're going anywhere under Ford, we've got to be lining up a replacement.
  12. As others have indicated, the club needs to release a statement to clarify what's going on. Currently we appear rudderless from the top down, that cannot go on, it's a bad reflection on the club and it's costing us both on the pitch and through the turnstiles. Who is leading the club, someone needs to step forward, carry the flag and tell us (1) what will be done to address the current demise, and (2) what the wider plan is to take the club forward again.
  13. It is a transitional year in every sense and we're all hurting as things unfold, but, Ford was never the right man and he clearly has to be replaced given the results, impact on attendances etc. It can't go on.
  14. Half time, got to sort our left edge defence out, way too leaky. Leigh are targeting that channel and we look way too shaky down that left edge whenever they come at us.
  15. Good luck to JD, always put in a great shift, a consistent hard worker. Thank you JD, you always did the shirt proud.
