  1. It was Jussaume who missed the 1st tackle. I believe Kheirallah was binned in error, the ref brought him back on and Pellisier got the eventually 10 mins in the bin. Listening to the commentary at the time it all sounded it had gone a bit Harry Hatstand...the referee seemed to get a bit confused. Anyway, disciplinary panel tomorrow I think so no doubt we will get to the bottom of it all. As well Joe Bretherton's high tackle. Edit... Actually looking at the stats, Killer was binned, but the commentary sounded like he was pulled back. All very confusing. Anyway, as he wasnt the one who did the tackle I can assume no charge will be brought. Pellisier however....
  2. Not sure which highlights you watched but the ones I saw Kheirallah wasn't even in the picture so I doubt he will receive a ban for that tackle.
  3. If Toulouse give away the same number of penalties as today they will be in trouble against a fired up Fev
  4. Toulouse have gone back to flying scutter air now, they have a nice relaxing weekend to enjoy their time in the UK. It's phenomenly cheaper too.
  5. Just a suggestion, but they could have two leagues. One with full time teams and one with part time teams. That would make the games a bit fairer. It does seem very unfair at the moment on the part timers.
  6. Toulouse are still missing 5 players from being battered by Oldham, some won't be back before, at least, the semifinals. Just because you are a "little" team, doesn't mean you can't leave a mark on a "big" team
  7. Every game is winnable. To step onto the pitch with a mindset that you are going to lose you might as well stay on the bus.
  8. It's overall points not wins. Otherwise you would have to discount the drawn matches, it also then includes the 2point deductions for London and Featherstone. I built a spreadsheet to run through the various end of season scenarios...(yes, I really am that much of a geek)
  9. I describe it as Rugby à treize here. I doubt many on line translators could work well with rugby idioms. Mind you even if I talk about rugby à treize I sometimes get blank faces anyway.
  10. Or TO or FeV lose their semi finals. It's not a given they will win even though they are the favourites. I think we would be discourteous to the other teams to write them off so easily.
  11. Possibly 2 out of 3 yes, the York game has yet to be cancelled
  12. If Fev win their semi final that is and TO finish top. Still a few games left to definitely sort things out.
  13. Yes, if they finish top and win the semi then the final will be in Toulouse too. This is broadly what the press release said when they announced that sky will be broadcasting the play off games.
  14. Wasn't that reported a week ago? Best placed teams will have home advantage for the semi and then the finals
  15. Ah...when i say "going over" I mean "going over to Perpignan from Tarbes" You can use viaMichelin tools for the costs in France...pretty neat tool, click on the link. Costs from Calais to Perpignan Can't help with Chunnel costs as "it depends"
  16. I will check with the Mrs but we might be going over to watch this too with no1 son, so if you can get as far as Tarbes we can give you a lift there and back.
  17. listening to Oldham Community Radio here in the South of France, they have the Oldham v TO match on soon. Suzi Quatro on at the moment...lovely.
  18. Quite, but lets hope it's just the supporters and not the higher-ups. Bloke at the Fev v Toulouse match the other week made his way down the stands to where the TO team were just about to disappear off the pitch at the end of the match. He stood there shouting and pointing his finger "nobody wants you, nobody wants you, nobody wants you".
  19. Pretty sure York won't be going to Toulouse so that game won't make a dint in their loss column
  20. Yes, we watch it from France. Newcastle v Bradford up next, both teams TO have to play yet.
  21. Unfortunately, this doesn't work in their favour. It's far better to be playing week in week out. It's not a benefit to miss this many weeks and then have to pick up the pace irregularly. You get far more injuries this way. Talk to a few trainers or conditioning coaches and ask how they see it, I think you would be surprised. I'm guessing now that the York match will also be cancelled. If they do make SL then they will have done it the hard way.
  22. Yes, just picked that up as well. Batley will be happy, getting spanked by 30+ would have put a dent in their win %. Week off for them then to recuperate for a final push to the end of the season. Hopefully, the two away games at Oldham and Newcastle will go ahead so that TO can complete 13 matches. It would be a crying shame if they only ended up playing 12 with a 100% record.
  23. Yes, more political I guess, but just to let you know in the UK it *is* better to wait longer but the official statement from the vaccine manufacturers is anytime after 4 weeks. Ho hum. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope to see York playing in Toulouse this season, but, in reality it looks like next season before we will see any RL in Toulouse.
