Fantastic win for Fartown.

I was pleasantly surprised with the official attendance especially with the bad weather. The first half was dreadful, the second half was a bit better but it wasn’t great. I can’t see where Wakefield’s next win is coming from.

Saints by 14, in a drab match. You’ll be able to hear the fans chatting to one another as the game goes on.

You can’t beat a bit of Wire…..the band that is.

How have the OAFC fans taken to this news.

Another thing that was great to see yesterday as well as the thrilling RL was the official sending a player back ten yards for backchat. Id love to see officials do it more often.

He ripped Saints apart when they beat us. It’ll be a great time to be a Leigh fan, not so for the FC fans. I can imagine they’re cheesed off especially when they nearly sneaked it last week.

I could hear the boos from here in Parr when the hooter went, with them being carried over by the strong wind. This season seems to be wide open looking at the current results.

I enjoyed that match, end to end with some brilliant RL.

I wasn’t going to go last night but someone had to drop out so i bought their ticket. I want to give credit to the Huddersfield fans who backed their side for the full 80mins. It was a nerve wracking game for myself but the Saints defence was fantastic, considering “H&H - Hurrell & Hopoate” spent a lot of the match having a lie down on the pitch. Fartown looked the more dangerous of the two sides in the second half, and i wouldn’t have had any complaints if Saints had have lost i would have been more annoyed with our shocking discipline. Pryce has got a fantastic side step. The kicking game from Lomax & Dodd is poor no variation whatsoever. I haven’t watched the match but i am told Lees got MoM, i would’ve given it to Makinson for his try and his two converted goals from out wide. Dodd has comeback from a bad injury so we just have to remain patient with him. I would still prefer to see Welsby in the halves though. Finally i don’t know if this has been mentioned but Saints only got back from Australia on Thursday morning, but we don’t like to talk about it.

I am glad Saints didn’t get the ban overturned, Knowles has become a liability and i honestly can’t remember the last time he strung a few good games together. Wellens would never think of dropping him because it’s “Morgan Knowles”, but i think it would give him a kick up the backside he needs because he’s been rubbish. Wingfield is more promising as a SR or LF, id stick Knowles in the reserves if they are still around.

I’ve not read any posts on this match but i thought it was an abysmal game. FC played some nice RL and if they had won it near the end i wouldn’t have complained. Looking at it from a saints fan POV Lomax & Dodd are doing nothing, Walmsley comes in for a lot of stick from some Saints fans but Lees gets off lightly, he is invisible at times. I am no fan of Davies but i thought he had a great game, and although i would prefer Bennison at one he was my MoM. As for FC, i still really like Swift and i wished he’d have stayed at Saints. I also rate Dwyer he caused us some problems on, and Clifford had a good game.

Should we bring the top tier clubs into the draw a bit earlier and then maybe a lower League club could have a decent pay day ?.

He was entertaining to watch and had a fair turn of pace.

This should be a cracking game, but Wire will be too strong. Wire by 10.

Not a lot of people know this but Saints have had a terrible journey home from Australia, i don’t think it has been mentioned. I will go for a draw, “SCRAP THE GOLDEN POINT FOR LEAGUE GAMES” If “Ben im a utility player Davies” is playing i’ll go for FC by 16.

I have just finished watching “Betrayed : Surviving An American Concentration Came” on PBS. It was horrendous how Japanese Americans were treated during WWII in the land of the free. A very sad documentary but well worth a watch.
