London 34, Hunslet 12

Another decent performance which pretty much carried on from the Halifax match last week. Certainly no complaints about the collective or individual efforts, or the style of play again.

The original starting line-up had Grimmer on the bench but we were told he got injured in the warm-up, which meant the new prop Gee from Salford came in. With Casey in the centre but coming off early meant that Gee then had to go there ... so we certainly had plenty of forwards and some size on the pitch!! Which was no bad thing for a long time, we managed plenty of go-forward with the ball and some big tackles without it.

But I guess it was always likely we would struggle a bit in the last quarter, though on the try that put London in front around 15 minutes into the second half, the final pass from Thackray that put Thomas over must be a contender for forward pass of the year - a disappointing error from Jamie Bloem who otherwise I thought refereed pretty well.

Again no league points to show then, but also once again the feeling that the performance would have been good enough against any of the bottom four sides.

Nice ground and nice set-up the Broncos have got for themselves at Barnet ... surprisingly, one of the better away trips this year so far ...

Anybody keep a note of how many points we've scored in the second half of games this season?s

All our points yesterday were scored by players on loan or DR

No, our first try was scored by LEE (not GEE as seems to have been reported in the press!)
