fevnut’s musings:  Barrow, Awful treatment of Away fans last week and Discipline

fevnut’s blog is primarily but not exclusively about Featherstone Rovers (obviously!). Every week fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column.

This week we explain how we got our dream cup tie and we write about the awful experience for some Fev fans last Sunday. Have the 2018 disciplinary problems returned? And we look at how Toronto’s well publicised squad problems might impact on Fev.

Perhaps on your next set of 'musings' you could run an article on the moronic drunken Featherstone 'fans' who at the Bradford game who managed to upset a few female supporters including a young mother with baby in a papoose who felt she had to move away from these foul mouthed idiots. It does seem to be a problem at Featherstone that is swept under the carpet.

Bradford are using Dewsbury's ground as tenants. How would you suggest that the seats should be marked as reserved given that different seats will be reserved by different people dependent upon which side is at home at the time?

This was their first home game at this ground and no doubt this and similar issues will be ironed out in due course.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
