kev p
the championship & league 1 tables as shown on RFL website shows a column for bonus points, only Batley shows a bonus points. were bonus points awarded or is this an error? i know its unimportant now, but i like to keep my records right! Hela Wigmen
Wasn't it the new rule about teams getting a guaranteed one point at the end of a draw and an additional point for winning in "Golden Point"?
kev p
could be. as only 1 point awarded in 41 games & no draws shown in table. was this the case last season in SL? i know golden point was played for then.

Griff
I'm not sure whether it's a "bonus point" or not, not that I suppose it matters. A point's a point however you got it. But Batley were indeed the only team to get a point out of a game they lost in golden point extra time. 18-18 after 80 minutes at home to Sheffield. Izaac Farrell scored a drop goal for Sheffield about four minutes into extra time. Only time it's ever happened at Division 2 level. "We'll sell you a seat .... but you'll only need the edge of it!"
