1990 Ashes Series - English broadcast / commentary

Recommended Posts

Watched the games with the Australian commentary a number of times but not ever watched them with the local commentary.

Would be interesting to compare the two.....especially the 2nd test moments of the intercept try, then the missed conversion and of course that Stuart run / Meninga try.

If any YouTube videos/ links I'd be appreciative.

Currently watching the NZ v GB 1989 series with English commentary ( Good old Ray and Peter Fox). I was there for the 3rd Test at Wigan.

Must surely be a local commentary of 1990 series, but my search is fruitless so far.

Thanks to Rugby League Replayed this missing piece of RL commentary (for me) has been found.  Glad I asked the question.

Must say I thought Ray French was very reserved / restrained in his call of the last minute try.  I could imagine Eddie and Stevo going off their heads if calling the same game. David Morrow certainly does in the Australian version.

Thanks again to RLR.
