According to Wikipedia, there are only 2 British senior international teams (discluding any 'Team GB' style teams that have finished top of a medal table) that have won their respective world championships/cups this year (so far). The England mens T20 team and the England wheelchair rugby league team. I know the list isn't exhaustive and someone will probably point out that we won the world cheeserolling championships but I thought it was worth showing how special their achievement is. Not everyone has the right to call themselves world champions.
