I agree with above comments.Ā  The problem is Bulman will be on big money. Also I think Toal has been a revelation at centre

Bulman is a cracking player and not seen any good ball. Shame he's injured.Ā  Interesting how well Cresswell is playing with Broadbent in the squad,Ā  although Cresswell rarely has a bad game.Ā Ā

Raiders have scored more points than the Bulldogs, only conceded 28 more points, yet have 5 less wins and are 9 positions lower. Makes no sense.

But as Mark Twain said:Ā 'Lies, damned lies and statistics'. Got it!

Ā

Haven at home, Swinton away and Newcastle at home are all games if we had played well we would have won. We only end up with -4 on points difference but get 1 point from those fixtures.

Absolutely.

We had 3 very close losses against our relegation rivals Swinton and Whitehaven by 2 points each, drew with Newcastle, all of which we were winning until the 70th minute.

Swinton scored 10 points in the last 7 minutes.

If we'd not given away late penalties against Whitehaven and Newcastle and won all 3 games, we would have had 5 extra points, 12 points in total, for 8th place.

Lack of discipline and handling errors have cost us dearly.

Completely agree that Ryan Shaw's impeccable kicking might often be the difference between winning and losing.
