Four Challenge Cup ties to be televised

All four of the sixth-round ties in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup will be televised live, the RFL has revealed over four successive days from 5 June on Sky Sports and the BBC.

The action kicks off on Thursday June 5 at the Select Security Stadium where the Sky Sports cameras will be on hand to capture a repeat of the 1937 Challenge Cup final, Widnes Vikings v Keighley Cougars (8.00pm).

Twenty four hours later Sky Sports will cover the clash between Leeds Rhinos and Leigh Centurions, the respective leaders of the Super League and Championship, together at Headingley Carnegie Stadium (8.00pm).

On Saturday June 7, the action switches to BBC1 for the all-Super League showdown between holders Wigan Warriors and Castleford Tigers at DW Stadium (2.30pm).

And on Sunday, Bradford Bulls and Warrington Wolves go head-to-head on BBC2 in the last tie of the round at Provident Stadium (2.30pm).

Details of ticket prices and availability for all four ties will be confirmed by the competing clubs in the next few days.

Thursday June 5 – Widnes Vikings v Keighley Cougars (8.00pm, Sky Sports)

Friday June 6 – Leeds Rhinos v Leigh Centurions (8.00pm, Sky Sports)

Saturday June 7 – Wigan Warriors v Castleford Tigers (2.30pm, BBC1)

Sunday June 8 – Bradford Bulls v Warrington Wolves (2.30pm, BBC2)
