Four from six will get us in the eight, says Chester

Hull KR coach Chris Chester believes four wins from the club’s last six games of the season could be enough to ensure they finish in the top eight.

The Robins are currently languishing in the bottom four, two points adrift of eighth-placed Hull FC with six games remaining.

And, ahead of the match against Warrington this Friday, Chester says that if they win two-thirds of their remaining fixtures, they should be in the eight.

“It’s very difficult to predict with everybody beating each other,” Chester said. “It’s important that we beat the teams around us.

“We’re confident and so should the guys be because we defended very well at the weekend and scored some exceptionally good tries.

“We’ll be targeting four from six. I think that’s enough to get you in that eight.”
