Four Nations: Mata’utia to make history against England

Sione Mata’utia will become the youngest ever Australian international Rugby League player on Sunday after Kangaroos coach Tim Sheens named the 18-year-old in his side to face England.

The speedy winger made his NRL debut this season for Newcastle and went on to score seven tries in seven appearances. He replaces Sydney Roosters’ Daniel Tupou on the flank.

Elsewhere, Ryan Hoffman has been relegated to the bench in place of Corey Parker, who pushes Greg Bird into the second row, while Brisbane half-back Ben Hunt comes into the squad and is on stand-by to play, should Daly Cherry-Evans fail to prove his fitness.
