Fuming Frayssinous questions big calls in defeat

Catalans chief Laurent Frayssinous was disappointed with the performance of the officials following their 28-26 defeat to Hull FC.

The Dragons saw their seven game winning streak come to an end, but Frayssinous pointed to a key moment when a Pat Richards conversion was not given after the touch judges split their decision.

“I am not very happy, we conceded 15 penalties, winning seven, and I’m not sure we had that lack of discipline compared to Hull,” he said.

“Plus the yellow card, plus the conversion, plus losing by two points… it’s strange.

“Pat is very honest; one touch judge puts the flag up, the other not. Why us?”
