GEORGE GRIFFIN has slammed Castleford Tigers for “shopping at Netto” after claiming that the West Yorkshire club has continued to pay contracts late to those that have left The Jungle.
Griffin was one of a number of Tigers players that left the club at the end of the 2025 Super League season, but he has taken to social media to express his viewpoint at being ‘unable to pay his bills’.
He wrote: “I really didn’t want to leave Castleford Tigers on a bad note as I enjoyed time there, but for consecutive months now myself and everyone else that has left the club has received their contractual payment late and have been unable to pay their bills.
“No one at the club seems to know what’s going on or passes blame to otherrs.
“It seems Castleford Tigers need to stop shopping at Netto for their staff and start looking elsewhere.
“Unleash the keyboard warriors.”
