Huddersfield’s new head coach Simon Woolford has named his first 19-man squad ahead of their Challenge Cup quarter-final with Catalans.
The Giants boss will officially take charge on Thursday after watching their victory over Salford last Friday.
Huddersfield are in excellent form, having won their last four matches which has moved them into the top eight and moved them to within two games of Wembley.
However, they will be without key forward Ukuma Ta’ai for their match against the Dragons, after he picked up a knock in their win last week.
He has been replaced by Sam Wood in the only change to the squad, meaning captain Leroy Cudjoe could make his return after not playing last week despite being in the 19.
Meanwhile. Catalans have only named an 18-man squad in anticipation of new signing Kenny Edwards’ registration being cleared.
Alrix Da Costa and Iain Thornley have dropped out of the squad, with Samisoni Langi returning.
Giants: Mamo, McGillvary, Cudjoe, Turner, Murphy, Gaskell, Brough, Ikahihifo, Leeming, Hinchcliffe, Rankin, Roberts, Clough, Smith, O’Brien, Mellor, McIntosh, Wood, English.
Dragons: Mead, Broughton, Wiliame, Langi, Casty, Moa, Anderson, Garcia, Bird, Bousquet, Simon, McIlorum, Tierney, Jullien, Maria, Gigot, Goudemand, Drinkwater.
