Huddersfield Giants prop Eorl Crabtree insists that the squad at the club is “too good” to be down at the bottom of the table.
The Giants have won only one of their first eight games so far this season and are rooted to the foot of the Super League ladder.
And ahead of the trip to West Yorkshire rivals Castleford this Sunday, Crabtree told the Huddersfield Examiner that as far as he’s concerned, the squad they’ve got possesses enough talent to haul themselves away from the bottom end of the league.
“I genuinely believe there is, I’m not just saying that,” said Crabtree.
“The lads around me every single day are positive people and great people – players you want to be around.
“Every one of them I admire for what we have been through and what we are going through and hopefully we will get through the other side very shortly, because we are too good to be in the position we are in.”
