GOOLE VIKINGS have signed three forwards and handed a contract extension to another.
Props Jon Turner, Alfie Petty and Owen Haldenby (above) have joined from Hull FC, Hull KR and Salford respectively.
Meanwhile former Castleford frontrower Brad Bullock has committed to Goole for a further year.
Turner, 18, is yet to make a senior debut but Petty, 19, played once in the first team at Hull KR while Haldenby, 20, had a loan stint at Goole this year, when Bullock, 19, played twelve times.
Goole coach Brett Ferres said: “Jon has been on the radar of a number of Super League clubs, so we’re really pleased he’s chosen to take the next step in his career with us.
“Alfie Petty is one of a number of young players we’ll be bringing into the group who we feel have some real potential.
“And Owen Haldenby gave a good account of himself in the short time he was with us. He wants to learn, improve and grow.”
