Could Warrington be about to bring a former Wolves player back to the club in 2017 as part of their recruitment plans?
The Telegraph and Argus are reporting that the Wolves are lining up a move for Bradford’s versatile man Matty Blythe, who began his career at Warrington before joining the Bulls in 2013.
Blythe is out of contract at Odsal at the end of this season, and it seems like he could be set to link up with his former employers again and mark a return to Super League.
He is one of several big names expected to leave Odsal at the end of this season. Lee Gaskell, Paul Clough and Dale Ferguson have been linked with moves to Huddersfield, with Danny Addy and Mitch Clark rumoured to be interesting Hull Kingston Rovers.
