Super League has just seen one Burgess brother return to the competition last week with the transfer of Luke from Manly to Salford Red Devils: but could another be set to follow?
Reports in Australia from the Sydney Morning Herald are suggesting that Tom Burgess, younger brother of Luke and Sam and twin brother to George, is apparently being offloaded by Souths with a number of sides contacted about taking on the barnstorming prop.
Sides in both the NRL and Super League have been contacted, but after a dismal season for the Rabbitohs on the field, they are keen to rebuild and refresh their squad.
Offloading some big names is seen as a way to do that according to the reports, and Burgess could be one of the first to be sent on his way.
