Wigan centre Dan Sarginson is on his way out of the club, according to reports.
The Mole, one of the most well-respected sources in Rugby League, confirmed on Twitter that the former London Broncos star was set to sign for Gold Coast Titans.
Speculation linking Sarginson with a move away from Wigan has been ongoing for some time, with talks only intensifying after the Titans confirmed their interest in the 22-year-old almost a fortnight ago.
It is understood that Sarginson’s management put the feelers out Down Under, with Gold Coast’s chief operator Brian Canavan admitting there had been some contact.
“He’s a name that’s been presented and he’s the right age and right position,’’ Canavan said.
“The discussions are ongoing there.”
Losing Sarginson would be a blow for Wigan having lost another young England star in Joe Burgess to Sydney Roosters ahead of this season.
