Scotland had four first-half try claims ruled out in their clash against the USA in Salford.
Alex Hurst, after Ben Hellewell had been stopped short on the opposite flank, was pulled back for a forward pass early on.
Hurst was held up later on and moments later Danny Brough’s try was ruled out on review for an obstruction in the lead up.
By then the Tomahawks had taken an eight-point lead.
