Hall delighted with Olympic choice for England

England winger Ryan Hall has praised the Rugby Football League for their decision to host this weekend’s second Test against New Zealand in London.

The Olympic Stadium will play host to the fixture, with England looking to secure a series victory after just two games by beating the Kiwis in the capital.

And Hall admitted to the Daily Star that it’s a fantastic and clever move by the game’s powers that be, and it can only do good things for the sport to take such a high profile game down to London.

“It’s a brilliant initiative by the Rugby League to go to the Olympic Stadium and spread the word,” he said.

“If we can keep putting the name of Rugby League out there in a good light, all the better.

“It’s great that a lot of people from London are coming to the game because they don’t get to see many live games.

“If we can put on a spectacle that will be great. If we can seal the series by going 2-0 up that will be even better.”
