LEEDS RHINOS head coach Brad Arthur was full of admiration for Jake Connor after his man-of-the-match display against Hull KR.
Connor was a regular threat with the ball and scored a try and seven goals in an impressive 38-8 victory.
He came off after 70 minutes with a tight muscle but Arthur said: “Jake’s fine, he just got whacked.
“He can do anything, it doesn’t surprise me what he can do. He’s our calmest player at the moment.”
Arthur was pleased with the whole display against Hull KR, especially in their MND awareness game.
“We spoke all week about being brave for Rob (Burrow) and his family, and we were,” he said.
“After being in a physical battle early on we dominated the collision and came out the other side and I was happy with that.
“The players have belief and care. They make tough choices about our physicality. We’re good to watch and hard to defend against.”
