Huddersfield Giants coach has confirmed that the club are interested in Sam Rapira, after talk linking the Kiwi international with a move to the West Yorkshire club intensified.
It was mentioned during last night’s TV broadcast that Rapira is being linked with a move to Huddersfield – and the Giants coach says that he is a player that they would like to sign.
However, he did not go as far as saying a deal was done for the New Zealand Warriors man.
“Sam Rapira is an international footballer and you don’t get caps and international appearances – and be a World Cup winner – without being someone of interest to us,” confirmed Anderson to the Huddersfield Examiner.
“He is a great player, somebody we would like to sign. I’m not saying we have or anything, but he is someone of interest to us.”
