Huddersfield Giants will be without England centre Leroy Cudjoe for up to six weeks, as he suffered an ankle injury during last weekend’s defeat to Warrington.
Cudjoe has sustained ankle ligament damage, ruling him out of one of the busiest periods of the season. And, with fellow centre Joe Wardle out for a month with injury too, it means Huddersfield will have to navigate the Easter period without their two strike centres.
“The news on Leroy is obviously not good,” said Anderson.
“We’re looking at Leroy being out for between four to six weeks, which is disappointing for us and for him.
“As you can imagine, it’s come as a blow for him, but he’s a fit, athletic young man who we all know will do the right thing to make sure he gets back onto the field as soon as he possibly can.”
