Hull FC are currently giving trials to former Leeds and Wakefield star Lee Smith, with a view to signing him before the start of the 2016 season, League Express understands.
Smith, 29, spent eight years at Leeds between 2005 and 2012, winning the Harry Sunderland Trophy in the 2008 Super League Grand Final, when the Rhinos defeated St Helens.
