Head coach Lee Radford has made two changes to his squad for Friday’s Super League clash with Salford Red Devils at the KC Stadium.
The Black and Whites boss has recalled scrum half Jacob Miller and forward Jay Pitts to his 19-man squad for the game as they look to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Widnes last time out.
Those two recalls have been offset by yet more disappointing news for the Black and Whites, though. Captain Gareth Ellis – who has been in superb form for the side this year – will be missing, as he begins a two-match suspension. He will also miss the cup tie between the sides next week.
Back rower Liam Kent is the other player to make way in the squad with highly rated Dean Hadley expected to make his first appearance of the season having been an unused substitute in the Vikings defeat.
Hull FC squad to face Salford (KC Stadium, Friday, 8pm): Arundel, Colbon, Crooks, Hadley, Heremaia, Horne, Houghton, Miller, Paleaaesina, Pitts, Rankin, Shaul, Talanoa, Thompson, Tuson, Watts, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman
