Hull FC sign Marc Sneyd for “substantial fee”

Salford Red Devils have announced they have agreed the transfer of half-back Marc Sneyd to Hull FC for the 2015 season and beyond.

Sneyd, who has been on loan at Castleford Tigers this year had recently requested a transfer from the AJ Bell Stadium after the Devils completed the signing of Michael Dobson.

Red Devils CEO Martin Vickers said: “We have agreed a substantial transfer fee for Marc with Hull who were clearly keen to complete the deal quickly. We are happy to have found a solution so quickly that suits all parties.

“We are building a squad for next season that will have tremendous competition for places and both Marwan and Iestyn Harris’ have a vision for where we are headed.

“We wish Marc well in his future career.”

The Oldham born half-back played 49 times for Salford scoring 7 tries and kicking 80 goals and will remain on loan at the Tigers for the rest of the season.
