Hull FC prop Liam Watts faces a race to be fit for Friday’s Challenge Cup semi-final against Wigan after he was forced from the field in Friday’s win over Salford.
Watts picked up a calf injury at the AJ Bell Stadium and left the pitch in the first half and did not return. Hull coach Lee Radford said the forward will assessed early this week.
“I don’t know the severity of it, so we’ll just have to wait and see,” Radford told League Express.
“But it’s that time of year when little injuries like that heal pretty quickly. We’ll see how he is on Monday.”
