Hull KR boss targets three wins from next four

Hull KR boss Chris Chester has laid down a target for his team over their next four games – win three of them, and they’ll be cemented in the top eight.

The Robins currently sit outside the top eight with seven games of the season left, but with fellow play-off contenders Salford Red Devils the opponents this weekend – followed by London, eighth-placed Widnes and Wigan – Chester believes a trio of wins could do the trick and get them into pole position.

“A win this weekend gives us that gap on Salford and if results go for us, it puts us in the eight,” he told Hull KR’s official website.

“We’ve got a winnable game coming up against London and then we’ve got to go to Widnes away a week before the Challenge Cup semi-final, so it’s an important few weeks for us.

“We’re looking at these next four games and if we can get three results from these next four, we’ll pretty much cement ourselves in the play-offs.”
