MIKEY LEWIS has been banned for a total of four games after being found guilty of two offences in Hull KR’s 34-12 loss to Warrington Wolves on Saturday.

England halfback Lewis was sinbinned during that defeat for a late tackle on Warrington’s Ewan Irwin, but his apparent headbutt on Adam Holroyd went unpunished.

The Disciplinary Match Review Panel has, however, taken a dim view on both offences, charging Lewis with a Grade C Late Contact on Passer and a Grade E Headbutt.

It means Lewis will sit out Rovers’ next four matches – including the Hull derby on Thursday night.

Elsewhere, Wigan Warriors forward Kian McDermott has been banned for two games for Grade D Head Contact during his side’s win over Huddersfield Giants.

And Taane Milne will sit out Huddersfield’s next three games after being hit with a Grade E Unnecessary Contact with an Injured Player charge.
