Rock musician John Parr – who became famous worldwide for his smash hit St Elmo’s Fire in the 1980s – has recorded and released a special song which pays tribute to the legendary Steve Prescott MBE.
The song, which is appropriately titled Man of Steel – the award handed out in Super League each year is also dedicated to Prescott – is available to watch below.
Former Hull and St Helens full-back Prescott raised thousands and thousands of pounds for charity after being diagnosed with cancer, taking on a number of incredible challenges before his death in November 2013.
