Injury problems mount up for Leeds

Leeds have received two further injury blows after Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Nathaniel Peteru were ruled out.

Jones-Buchanan is set to undergo a knee operation to clear out his knee which will keep him out for six to eight weeks, while Peteru faces a 10 to 12-week spell on the sidelines after he ruptured his bicep tendon.

Peteru, who joined the club from Gold Coast, has already missed action this year with a bicep problem, although his latest setback is due to an issue with his other bicep.

It gives Brian McDermott further problems ahead of Saturday’s game at Catalans, with captain Kallum Watkins also out after suffering a season-ending ACL injury.
