Jones-Bishop on Hull FC’s radar

Hull FC are thought to be chasing Salford Red Devils back Ben Jones-Bishop.

TotalRL.com understands that the Airlie Birds are keen to invest some of the £150,000 made on the sale of Joe Westerman back into the team, with Jones-Bishop thought to be high on Lee Radford’s wish list.

They have a number of targets in mind on both sides of the world, but Jones-Bishop is now a realistic option for them to provide cover after the departure of Tom Lineham, who will join Westerman at Warrington in 2016. It is understood that no bid has been made as of yet.

Jones-Bishop has been linked with a move away from Salford for some time now, just one season after joining the Red Devils. Rumours intensified on Tuesday following Salford’s completion of a one-year loan deal for Castleford winger Justin Carney.
