Josh Drinkwater set for Super League stay following Warrington Wolves exit

JOSH DRINKWATER is set to stay in Super League following his exit from the Warrington Wolves, League Express can exclusively reveal.

The Australian halfback will be let go by Wolves at the culmination of the 2024 Super League season following two seasons at the Cheshire club.

During his two-year spell at the Halliwell Jones, Drinkwater has made almost 50 appearances and has become a key figure in Warrington’s tremendous 2024 campaign so far.

Though the 32-year-old will not be a Warrington player in 2025, the halfback is keen to stay in Super League, and, though nothing has been agreed as of yet, a deal is likely to be forthcoming, League Express understands.
