Popular journalist Gary Carter has been discharged from hospital after his recovery from a serious incident continues.
Gary, widely regarded as one of Rugby League’s finest journalists, was viciously attacked on a London street in November, leaving him in a coma.
However today he posted on Facebook to tell his friends and family he had returned home.

Meanwhile, the man found guilty of committing the attack on Carter has been sentenced.
James Flanagan, from Kentish Town, has been sentenced to two years in prison.
