KAI O’DONNELL is primed for a return to Super League, League Express can exclusively reveal.
O’Donnell, who joined the North Queensland Cowboys ahead of the 2025 NRL season, is out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
The 27-year-old is no stranger to the Super League competition, having joined Leigh Leopards during the 2022 Championship season (when they were named Centurions).
O’Donnell helped the Leopards to Challenge Cup success in 2023 and went on to register 31 tries in 77 appearances over the course of three seasons.
The back-rower returned to the NRL, having started his career with Canberra Raiders in 2020, with the Cowboys in 2025 and has gone on to make 23 appearances for North Queensland in two seasons so far.
However, League Express understands that a number of Super League clubs are eyeing up O’Donnell.
