KEIGHLEY COUGARS hope to unlock the potential in Isaac Coleman after signing the forward from Rochdale Hornets for the 2027 season.
The 24-year-old, who came through the ranks at Bradford Bulls before going on to represent England Students, made ten appearances for the Hornets last season after having impressed on a pre-season trial.
He is Matty Bramald’s fourth signing, following ex-Sheffield pair Marcus Green and Jayden Billy and Batley utility Ollie Greensmith through the doors at Cougar Park.
“I’m really pleased Isaac is joining us,” said Bramald of the two-time Jamaica international, who earned caps against Wales in 2024 and France in 2025.
“He’s a young forward with a good grounding in the game and plenty of potential to develop further.
“We want to give him the opportunity to compete for his place and become an important part of the squad.
“I’m looking forward to working with him and seeing what he can bring when we get into pre-season.”
Director of rugby Richard Dibbin is delighted Coleman has joined the club, who will hope to rebuild under Bramald after a disappointing 2026.
He added: “It’s been a pleasure speaking with Isaac and getting everything together to bring him to Keighley.
“Matty and I were keen to have him on board, and we’re delighted he’s chosen to join us.
“We’re working hard behind the scenes to put the squad and support around Matty in place.
“Isaac is another welcome addition, and I’m looking forward to seeing him get started with the lads.”
