Jimmy Keinhorst has emerged as one of the most in-demand players on the open market after attracting interest from numerous clubs.
The Leeds Rhinos centre has already received at least one offer from a club with several others set to follow suit, with Hull Kingston Rovers thought to be leading the way.
Widnes and Castleford Tigers are also among the clubs in the race to sign the 27-year-old, while Wakefield and Toronto are also thought to have kept an eye on the German international but have now decided to explore other options.
However, the Rhinos also remain hopeful that they can retain the Keinhorst, despite allowing him to go on loan to Widnes earlier this month.
He has received an offer from the Rhinos to remain at the club beyond the end of the season, but, with the contract offers received likely to be superior to his existing contract at Leeds, and Keinhorst frustrated with the lack of first-team opportunities, a move looks inevitable.
