LONDON BRONCOS have agreed a two-year contract extension with versatile James Meadows.

The capital-born 27-year-old ahead of this season started a third spell at the club where he came through the Academy, and has played fullback, centre, stand-off, scrum-half and hooker under coach Jason Demetriou.

News of Meadows’ latest deal with the ambitious southern outfit comes ahead of Monday’s 1895 Cup final against Widnes Vikings at Warrington and with the Championship play-offs looming.

The Broncos, who have already clinched the Championship Leaders’ Shield, are seeking a return to Super League, in which Meadows played for them during both his previous spells, the first from 2018, when he made his senior debut, to 2021 and the second in 2024.

He has also been at Batley Bulldogs (2022 and 2023) and Bradford Bulls (2025).

Meadows (pictured) currently leads the Championship chart for points (258) and is joint-top of the goals list with Doncaster halfback Connor Robinson on 115.

The Broncos play their last mach of the regular season against Swinton Lions at Richmond Athletic Ground on Saturday, September 5.

Demetriou, appointed after Australian duo Darren Lockyer and Grant Wechsel took control of the Broncos, said: “Jimmy has played a big role in the rebuild here.
