Kieran Dixon closing in on London Broncos return

London Broncos are set to be handed a major boost ahead of the final part of Super League 2014, as winger Kieran Dixon nears a return from injury – and he could feature within the next month.

Dixon has been sidelined since October last year, after suffering a serious knee injury whilst with the England Knights. However, coach Joey Grima says he is well ahead of schedule, and is closing in on making his first appearance of 2014.

“Kieran is six weeks ahead of schedule,” Grima told BBC London 94.9.

“He’s been training for the last three weeks and will be able to undertake contact and collision activities next week. The anticipation is for him to be ready in four weeks.”
