KYLE FELDT has left St Helens with immediate effect.
The winger signed with the Merseyside club ahead of the 2025 season on a two-year deal but has had his stay cut short early.
Feldt had spent his whole career up until then with North Queensland Cowboys, where he is their record try-scorer.
He played for the Saints on 29 occasions, boasting an impressive scoring record with 33 tries.
The 34-year-old also kicked 32 goals for Saints, taking his total points tally to 196.
But his most recent performances came under scrutiny and Feldt has left “following a mutual agreement between the player and the club”.
While Saints have Deon Cross, Lewis Murphy, Owen Dagnall, Nene Macdonald and Jacob Douglas as wing options, coach Paul Rowley says he is in the market to replace Feldt.
“First of all, we will look within, but I think we’ve exhausted that to its absolute limit now, so we’re looking,” he said.
