No secret recipe for Leeds, says Ablett

Experienced Leeds back-row Carl Ablett is hopeful that the club’s hard work will pay off tonight.

The Rhinos will try to kickstart their horrendous season once again when they take on high-flying Hull FC, who have won their previous five matches.

On the flip side, the Rhinos are reeling following four consecutive defeats, which has left them languishing in 11th place in Super League.

It has been a hellacious period for the Rhinos, however Ablett is positive that the Rhinos will come out of it on the other side.

“For us players it is tough to get in each day and watch the video,” he said. “But I think we’re honest enough to know we need to work hard and find ways to get better.”

“There’s no magic formula or one thing that will turn things around. It will be the culmination of honest, hard work and being a little bit smarter in how we do things. It’s tough reading when you look at the run we’ve had, but we get belief from how hard we know we’re working and when we do get a decent result we can get on a run because as you’ve seen this year anyone can beat anyone on their day. We just need to focus on getting better each day and looking now at how we improve and beat Hull.”
