LEEDS RHINOS are set to make another three more signings for next season, sporting director Ian Blease has revealed.
The Rhinos have already locked up Dylan Walker from Parramatta Eels and former star Morgan Gannon from New Zealand Warriors, but there is more to come from the Headingley outfit.
With Harry Newman, Mikolaj Oledzki and James McDonnell leaving for Perth Bears, Brodie Croft for Warrington Wolves and Cameron Smith for Wakefield Trinity, the Rhinos will be losing a considerable amount of firepower at the end of 2026.
However, Blease has confirmed that more signings are in the pipeline.
“We got one over the line (last) weekend so we are just waiting for the contract to come back, and then there will be another forward and an outside back all being well,” Blease told the Leeds Rhinos podcast.
“We’ve been doing a lot of work in the past few months but it’s got to be a right move for the player, club and Brad Arthur (Leeds head coach).
“It excites me, there have been changes that we didn’t anticipate but we have managed to get our head round that to ensure we bring in quality players to replace them.
“We have a succession plan that we review regularly. You don’t always get it right due to injuries and players moving on but we have a four-year plan.
“There are names on there at academy and scholarship level but you can’t really tell what happens until they grow up.
“We’ve got to keep our eye on that, but there’s definitely a big plan.”
