Leeds Rhinos v Hull FC: Three key battles on show

Beau Falloon v Danny Houghton (hooker)
Our first key battle tonight is a meeting of two hookers who have had contrasting fortunes so far in 2016. Beau Falloon missed the start of the season due to injury and has yet to truly get going in a Leeds shirt – but the story is markedly different for Danny Houghton. He has been one of Hull’s best players so far in 2016 – for years, in fact, and Falloon will have to get to grips with the livewire Hull hooker if Leeds are to come out on top tonight.

Jamie Shaul v Zak Hardaker (fullback)
England international Zak Hardaker enjoyed a magnificent 2015 season but his form is slightly more subdued in 2016 for Leeds Rhinos. In contrast, Jamie Shaul is again making headlines as a fullback with enormous potential, and the battle between these two will no doubt be huge in determining who comes out on top at Headingley this evening.

Keith Galloway v Scott Taylor (prop)
Two new recruits in the front-row feature for our final key battle – and it’s a big one for Keith Galloway. He’s not quite got to grips with Super League yet in 2016, which is understandable – but he’ll have to be on form tonight to keep Scott Taylor quiet. The former Salford and Hull KR man has arrived at the KC Stadium a man on a mission, and has produced some exceptional form up front to lay the platform for Lee Radford’s men on a frequent basis. Who will come out on top in the prop battle?
