Leigh Centurions to stage Moimoi welcome event

Leigh Centurions have announced they will host a welcoming event for marquee signing Fuifui Moimoi, which will take place at the club next Tuesday (13 January).

The ticket-only event will see Moimoi presented to Leigh fans for the first time, after he touched down in the United Kingdom earlier today (Wednesday). Held in the club’s banqueting suite, there will be an opportunity to also hear from Centurions coach Paul Rowley, as well as head of rugby Derek Beaumont.

Per the club’s official Facebook page, the schedule and itinerary for the evening will be as follows:

6pm – doors open
6:30pm – top table interview for LCTV with Derek Beaumont (Head of Rugby) and Paul Rowley (Head Coach)
6:45pm – Display of traditional Tongan dancing led by ex-Leigh favourite Lee Hansen
6:55pm – Welcome to Fuifui Moimoi including video clip and then interview. Supporters will then be invited to ask questions from the floor.

Tickets are on sale in the following priority:

Until 12noon on Friday, 9 January – Sponsors, Touchdown Club members and LISA members who are also season ticket holders;
From 12noon on Friday 9 January – Season ticket holders, LISA members and Leigh lottery members;
From 10am Monday 12 January – open sale.
