Leigh scrum-half Ryan Brierley has made history by becoming the first Centurions player to score three consecutive hat-tricks.
The former Castleford Tigers academy star, 22, scored three four-pointers in his side’s 52-0 thrashing of Whitehaven yesterday to go alongside the five he scored against Barrow the week before, and the three against Batley in the opening game of the season.
That’s 11 tries in just three games, which has helped Leigh Centurions score 52 points in all three of their 2014 Championship games.
