Leigh Centurions are preparing to announce what boss Paul Rowley describes as a “big name” signing at the beginning of December, as the club’s full-time squad for next season nears completion.
After the announcement of three more signings last week, Rowley confirmed there is just one face left to announce. However, he assured Leigh fans that after all the hype surrounding a big name signature, nobody will be left disappointed by the player in question when he is revealed.
“We have got one more to announce,” confirmed Rowley to the Leigh Reporter.
“We will confirm who at the start of December but all I will say is that we’re promising a big name and we will deliver a big name.
“We are looking forward to getting stuck in and working hard. There are a lot of challenges ahead, not just from the relegated Super League teams – Bradford and London – but from the likes of Dewsbury and Doncaster who have strengthened well.”
